Allow us to introduce ourselves!
We are your local flower farmers here in the Wauseon/Delta Area.
How rude we have been to just assume you know who we are.
- INTRODUCTION OF THE FARM DUO -
We are a local mom and daughter business here in Fulton County, Ohio.
Our farm is located at our home between Wauseon & Delta. We started farming late Summer 2023.
We sell our flowers to local florists for weddings and other events, at our roadside stand, and at the Delta & Defiance Farmer's Markets.
Our Flower Stand is located in my parent's yard on Airport Highway since it's a bit easier to get to for many people.
We do our best to practice regenerative farm practices.
Basically, that means we are not using pesticides, herbicides, or other chemicals.
Instead, we have used other organic methods for any pest control and also making the farm a place where beneficial insects want to be. We also will be using cover crops to help bring nutrients back into our soil.
All of this helps support our pollinators who we love to see around the farm. We found out last summer that this is not the easiest path to take, but we aren't looking back. (Something I never thought I would say is I bought bugs. Yep, I spent oney for someone to send us bugs to help with our flower problems. )
We grow seasonal flowers, which means our bouquets are constantly changing from week to week.
We started with tulips this spring and finish strong this fall with dahlias, mums, and other fall favorites.
Something you should know about our bouquets...
We grow a variety of flowers, many of which you won't find at the grocery store. We also include a variety of flowers in your bouquets to help extend the vase life. Some flowers like Dahlias are stunning and gorgeous in a bouquet, but they only last for a few days, vs. other flowers like Chrysanthemum and lisianthus that will last for a few weeks. So, if one flower starts to fade in your bouquet, simply pull it out and enjoy the others.
Thank you for being here with us.
Hi! I'm Emily!
I'm almost 9 years old and am in third grade. I've loved flowers since I was very little. My favorite flower used to be a sunflower and an iris, but now its DAHLIAS!

When I'm not learning about flower farming, I'm playing sports. I play soccer, softball, basketball, and I'm in dance. One more fun fact about me is that I like rocks, especially geodes.
Hi! I'm Amanda
I'm a 37 year old mom of four girls .(My husband definitely owns his title of “Girl Dad”😄) When I say that we accidently started this flower farm, that's an understatement. 🤣(More on that in a later newsletter)
Before this new journey I am on, I was an elementary teacher for over 11 years. After leaving teaching, I decided to start a photography business focusing on children and families. My photography and business are still big parts of my life, but flowers brought me peace and healing that I definitely needed.
When I'm not taking photos or working with my flowers you will probably find me coaching my girls soccer teams, having family and framily (our friend family) game night., rollerblading, or watching the Green Bay Packers.
We are excited to share with you more stories from our farm, our flowers, and events we are hosting this year. Until next time flower friends,
